Field Trip – Osborndale State Park, Derby – Maria Stockmal

Osbornedale State Park offers a variety of species in its fields, forest, and around its ponds. It is always a surprise as species are discovered walking through the park. A flyover Bald Eagle, nesting Bluebirds, early warbler migrants, Green Heron, and Orchard Oriole are possible, as well as Indigo Bunting, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, and several thrush species. We will explore the Kellogg Environmental Center grounds and then walk over to Osbornedale Park to explore and see what we find. Meet at the Kellogg Environmental Center parking lot at 500 Hawthorne Avenue, Derby.
