Costa Rica is a birdwatcher’s paradise, offering easy access, safety, friendly locals, and a vast array of stunning tropical birds. Jim Zipp and his wife have visited the country nine times in the past 11 years, exploring its popular destinations and spotting a diverse range of birds, including Resplendent Quetzals and hummingbirds. In addition to sharing stunning photos of birds, Jim will share tips on getting around, local cuisine, birding lodges, optional guides, and weather.
Jim Zipp is a seasoned nature photographer whose work has been featured in publications like National Geographic, Time, GEO, and Audubon, and his travels have taken him throughout North America, Mexico, and Central America.
